Heph, a rising player in insurance infrastructure, has announced a strategic partnership with Capri Global Capital Ltd (Capri Loans) to integrate embedded insurance directly into the NBFC’s lending ecosystem. The collaboration is set to redefine how insurance is distributed and consumed across Capri’s vast lending portfolio, including MSME loans, gold loans, construction finance and affordable housing.
Through Heph’s API-driven, white-label platform, Capri Global will offer a diverse suite of insurance products—ranging from health, life, and motor to group insurance—customized to individual borrower profiles. These offerings will be seamlessly integrated into Capri’s digital framework and made accessible via multiple channels including assisted sales, direct-to-consumer and embedded journeys.
Early results from the partnership are already promising. Capri Global has reported an 80% reduction in policy issuance time, enabling insurance policies to be issued within minutes, drastically improving turnaround and enhancing customer experience. The platform also facilitates cross-selling, with access to over 49 insurance providers.
Heph’s platform brings additional value by streamlining backend operations such as policy administration, invoicing, IRDAI compliance and advanced analytics—ensuring robust performance and data protection through SOC 2 and ISO-certified security standards.
