Cognizant has named Sailaja Josyula as the Global Head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) division. Operating out of Hyderabad, Josyula will be responsible for leading the company’s global GCC strategy, with a focus on seamless execution, innovation and delivering value-driven solutions to clients.
In her new role, she will establish and oversee a cross-functional team dedicated to helping clients build and scale next-generation GCCs. Her appointment comes as Cognizant continues to strengthen its capabilities in the rapidly evolving GCC space.
Josyula brings with her nearly 30 years of experience across the financial services, transformation, and operations management sectors. She rejoins Cognizant after a leadership tenure at Ernst & Young (EY), and has previously held senior roles at Thomson Reuters and HSBC. A Six Sigma Black Belt and a fellow of the International Women’s Leadership Forum, she is recognised for her strategic leadership and industry expertise.
Her return is seen as a key move in Cognizant’s broader strategy to expand and enhance its GCC operations globally.
