The center will play a critical role in bolstering capabilities in IT, data and analytics, serving as a hub for digital transformation in the banking sector.
With plans to scale up to 1,000 professionals by March 2026, the GCC will harness Hyderabad’s robust talent pool and modern infrastructure, further reinforcing the city’s status as a growing global destination for financial and technology innovation.
The launch event was marked by the presence of key dignitaries including Sridhar Babu Duddilla, Jayesh Ranjan, Michael Ruttledge (CIO, Citizens Financial Group) and Cognizant leaders Rajesh V. and Nageswar Cherukupalli. The gathering underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing technology-led transformation within the banking and financial services sector.
This strategic initiative is expected to deepen Citizens’ digital capabilities and broaden Cognizant’s footprint in next-gen banking solutions—creating a powerful synergy between two leading institutions in technology and finance.
